Makeup – this word can have so many different meanings. What does it mean for you? I believe that whether you are a minimalist or daring and love bright colors, whether it is your wedding day or simply a night out with the girls, your make up should allow you to feel as if you are not wearing any.
I remember watching my mother put her lipstick on when I was a little girl, and I will never forget the day she had given me my first make-up kit. I was 14 years old and had just started high school. Many times my friends and family would encourage me to focus on art. For me, make up is a form of art. I have always found something calm and serene about sitting in front of a mirror and picking out the eye shadow that best expressed the mood I was in, or the look I was trying to achieve.
In 2008 my best friend trusted me with her make up on the most awaited and important day of her life, her wedding day. Today, I have the privilege of being a part of many special days and special moments.
